Publish report on mental health provision in West Dorset now!

Since the re-organisation of mental health in West Dorset, vital beds at Stewart Lodge in Sherborne and the Hughes Unit in Bridport have been lost. People in crisis are now having to travel to Bournemouth to get the care they need. The Dorset Health Scrutiny Committee commissioned an independent review into the changes, but outrageously the Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group are refusing to publish the report it produced.

We the undersigned are deeply concerned by the cuts to mental health beds and day support services in Bridport, Dorchester and Sherborne and request that the recent independent analysis of the review of mental health provision in West Dorset is published immediately so that action can be taken to restore this vital support for the people who need it.
