Dave Rickard
Dave Rickard has lived with his family in West Dorset for nearly 20 years. He’s a retired Ecologist and Environmental Scientist and has been a leading campaigner for the environment and sustainable development through Agenda 21 since 1994. He and his wife Anne set up the Dorchester LETS System and they have been members of Bridport’s scheme for ten years.
Dave is also a professional musician and with his duo String Whistle has been entertaining locally for a decade or more.
Dave says “Bridport people have kept alive so much of what makes a town great, but have also embraced the new urgent requirements of survival in a rapidly changing world. Bridport is a “sustainable” town. I want to be part of keeping it that way”.
