Cllr Ros Kayes
Ros Kayes has lived in the Bridport area for the past 12 years. She has two children at local primary schools. She has always worked with young people as a teacher and is currently a lecturer at a local college. She is also a counsellor and therapist working out of a GP surgery.
She had always been involved with the community and environmental issues. She campaigned to save Bradpole post office and supported the Bridport Local Food Initiative. She was chairman of the West Dorset LETS organisation.
Ros was elected to Bridport Town Council in a by election in July 2006.
