Anna Grear
Anna chose to live in Bridport because of its lively, warm atmosphere and the genuine openness of the community. Having brought up her two children as a single parent and seen them safely into early adulthood she now has energy and enthusiasm to bring to serving the community of Bridport. She studied Law at Oxford University, and works as a University lecturer in the South West, specialising in Human Rights. Her main reason for being a Liberal Democrat is her passionate commitment to social justice, particularly social inclusion and the important freedoms related to well-being and success for young and old alike. In the past she has run a citizenship project for young people, and has run a range of community-based initiatives, including involvement in youth clubs, counselling work, and theatre production.
