Cllr Trevor Jones
Trevor has been a West Dorset Councillor for over thirty years. He is one of Dorset’s long standing public figures and has chaired the Dorset Ambulance Trust as well as serving on all three local Councils - Town, District and County, plus Dorset Fire & Rescue Service. He is a former Leader of the County Council and three times Mayor of Dorchester. Trevor has successfully campaigned for many improvements to the County Town down the years as well as helping countless local people with their problems and concerns. Awarded the OBE for his public services he carries out support work for Councils up and down the country. He and his wife, Stella (also a long serving Councillor and a reception class teacher at Damers) have four children, six grandchildren – and two more on the way.
